What a Suspension Does
It stops you signing in, and it ends any session that was already open. You are not signed out slowly or partially, it takes effect on the next thing the account tries to do.
It is not a deletion. Nothing you made is removed, and everything is still there if the suspension is lifted.
What Leads to One
- Impersonating another person or another server
- Manufacturing votes or paying for reviews, at any scale worth noticing
- Repeatedly uploading other people's work as your own
- Abusing another member
- Coming back to do again what something was already removed for
One bad listing or one bad upload is normally that listing or that upload coming down. An account suspension is for a pattern rather than an incident, so it usually follows something that already happened once.
What Happens to What You Own
Listings, uploads and reviews stay where they are. Suspension is about access rather than content, and where the content itself was the problem it is dealt with separately.
Nobody can transfer a server listing to a suspended account either, so if somebody is trying to hand you one and being told they cannot, this is worth checking.
Getting It Looked At
Contact us from the email address the account was made with, since that is the one thing you can still prove while locked out. Say what you think happened, even if you are guessing.
Suspensions can be lifted, and lifting one puts everything back as it was. Nothing was thrown away in the meantime.
Your Player Profile Is Separate
A player profile is not an account and a suspension does not touch it. If your gamertag is on the site and you want that gone, that is a different request with different steps in Removing a Player Profile.
