What Gets Removed
The public page for your gamertag, along with every gamertag and skin recorded against it. It does not delete your LecternMC account, which is a separate thing you can keep or close on its own.
How to Do It
- Step 1. Sign in and open Settings
- Step 2. Link your Xbox account if it is not linked already
- Step 3. Use Remove your player profile
The link is what proves the profile is yours. We have no other way to tell one player from another, and we would rather ask for proof than let anybody remove anybody.
It cannot be undone. The page and everything recorded against it are deleted rather than hidden.
Why It Stays Gone
We keep an unreadable marker afterwards, so a server that reports you later cannot rebuild the page. The marker cannot be turned back into a gamertag, it only lets us recognise one we have been asked to forget.
If You Cannot Link Xbox
Contact us and we will remove it by hand. You do not need an account for that, and a parent asking about a child does not need to prove anything to us.
